East Asian Seas Congress 2024

The East Asian Seas (EAS) Congress 2024, in collaboration with Xiamen World Ocean Week, is scheduled to take place from November 6 to 8, 2024. This event will be hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources of China, the Xiamen Municipal People’s Government, and Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia.

As a pivotal component of this occasion, the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (SKLMP) at City University of Hong Kong will organize Parallel Sessions ST2.2 on "Training Workshop on Pollution Assessment and Management (PAM)" and ST2.3 on “Capacity Building Workshop on the Global Estuaries Monitoring (GEM) Programme”. These workshops aim to serve as a forum where participants can convene with action partners, provide updates on the progress of GEM, foster new collaborations, and engage in discussions on joint projects and strategies for the upcoming phase of GEM.
