The 2nd UN Ocean Decade Regional Conference & 11th WESTPAC International Marine Science Conference will be held on April 22 – 25, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand. As part of this significant event, the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (SKLMP) at City University of Hong Kong will host the session C1 on “Marine chemical Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CEC)” in collaboration with National Research and Innovation Agency in Indonesia, the University of Tokyo, and Malaysian Science Academy. We will also host one of the Decade Ocean Workshops on “GEM: Global Estuaries Monitoring Programme”. This workshop will provide a platform for participants to bring together action partners, update the progress of GEM, catalyze new partnerships, and deliberate on collaborative projects and action plans for the next phase of GEM.
